Hi! I’m Kristina Nelson. 

For years my mom has had a tiny, ceramic sparrow that sits in a tiny nest. She’s always said that that bird reminds her that if God cares for the sparrow, He cares for her as well. 

That little bird reminder has stayed with me.

I’ve painted many of God’s creatures over the years, but my favorite subjects are birds. They range from beautiful to cute with a myriad of colors and patterns and personalities. 

And like us humans, they are small and vulnerable. Yet no matter what happens to them, God always has them in His hand.
